Experienced Turner or Miller required for immediate start

Location: Coventry CV6

Pay rate: £14.50/h DOE

Permanent role

Shifts: 4 weeks rotation of days and nights (subject to change), an afternoon shift may be introduced later on

Hours:

Normal hours of work are 39 hours per week, based on a 2 shifts pattern of:

06:30 – 14:45 Monday to Thursday – 30 minutes paid break, 06:30 – 12:30 Friday – 15 minutes paid break

19:30 – 06:00 Monday to Wednesday – 25 minutes paid break and 30 minutes unpaid break, 19:30 – 05:00 Thursday – 25 minutes paid break and 30 minutes unpaid break.

Holidays:

33 days holiday including Bank Holidays (3 days saved for Christmas break – no other shutdowns)

Overtime rates:

Monday to Friday – Time and a quarter

Saturday – Time and a half

Sunday – Double time

Daily duties:

• General CNC setting
• Machinery to be used: Mazak – Puma – HAAS – Mitsubishi – Biglia Dainichi  (etc)  
• Using turning or milling machinery
• Loading and unloading of machinery
• Adhering to health and safety procedures

• Flexibility
• Relevant experience using machinery
