Transport Coordinator

Shift Pattern: Mon- Fri. Day Shift, 08:00-18:00

The primary objective of the role will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our transportation services. You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring the movement of goods and vehicles, maintaining accurate records, and providing excellent customer service
Main duties/ responsibilities

·Act as a key operations leader
·Coordinate the movement of incoming and outgoing shipments, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to schedules
·Ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
·Collaborate with internal teams, including warehouse personnel, drivers, and customer service, to ensure efficient logistics operations
·Build relationships with Clients through constant contact and advocacy by offering advice, solutions, and proactive issue management.
·ATF controller, ETSF and general operational support
·Communicating with drivers, suppliers, and customers to resolve any transportation issues
·Keeping accurate records of all transportation activities
·Monitor and manage all transportation activities, including tracking shipments, coordinating with carriers, and resolving any issues or delays
·Updating and maintaining the transport management system
·Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, including safety protocols, and maintain accurate records of all transportation activities
·Preparing and distributing necessary documentation, such as delivery notes and invoices
·Deliver upon contract service level agreements, expectations, and value proposition
·Utilise transportation management systems and software to manage and track shipments effectively
·Providing excellent customer service by responding promptly to inquiries and resolving any transportation-related issues
·Handling customer complaints and providing appropriate solutions.
·Manage logistics software to optimize transportation operation
·Collaborate with other departments to ensure effective supply chain management
·Direct and guide drivers to designated loading and unloading areas
·Maintain the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive information
·Collaborate with warehouse staff and logistics team to optimize traffic flow and minimize delay
·Resolve any conflicts or issues that may arise during vehicle movement and traffic management
·Any other task as mentioned by the management
Technical Skills:
·Knowledge of traffic control procedures and regulations
·Strong understanding of logistics distribution, Familiarity with transportation management systems and software
·Proficiency in Microsoft Office application, Proficiency in using GPS and tracking systems to monitor shipments or traffic management software
·Ability to manage comprehensive reviews, Ability to interpret transportation regulations and ensure compliance
·Understanding of safety regulations and protocols
·Familiarity with route planning and optimization techniques
·Experience in preparing and tracking order
·Basic understanding of vehicle mechanics and maintenance
