Saw Operator

A position has become available for an experienced metal saws op for a busy metal works shop.

Pay rate: £11.51 ph 

Location: Redditch

Basis: Temp to Perm

Hours: Mon – Fri 08:30am – 17:00pm 

Day to Day duties will include the following:

• • Fully understand engineering drawings (Essential)
• • Ableto use measuring equipment (Essential)
• • Cutting metal strips to length (Essential)
• • Accurately measure metal (Essential)
• • Able to set own machine (Essential)
• • Hands on role 
• • Using overcrane 
• • Using FLT
• Handling Saw Blades

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• • Previous metal cutting expertise (Essential)
• • Able to work on own initiative (Essential)
• Ability to read engineering drawings
