Job Description
Position: Senior Radio Engineer
Location: Redditch + Occasional Site Visits
Hours: 40 hours per week + Overtime (08:45-17:00 Monday- Thursday 08:45 – 16:00 Friday)
Salary: £38,000 – £45,000 (Depending on experience)

A leading company in the Radio Telecommunications Solutions sector based in Redditch is seeking an experienced Senior Radio Engineer reporting to the Programme Manager.
The successful candidate will be highly organised and competent with both complex and basic engineering tasks.

- Digital / Analogue Radio systems
- DMR
- Integrated Control Desk Systems
- Voice systems (PA)
- CCTV
- Distributed Antenna Systems
About you;
- Experience configuring/integrating manufacturer equipment to interface with the customer environment in terms of Telephony / SIP / IT networks / IP plans – Essential**
- Ability to/Experience with Programming/Re-Programming of Radio Equipment – MOTOROLA CPS OR HYTERA CPS – Essential**
- Understanding/Experience of working with Motorola Equipment – Essential**
- The ability to work in a self-supervised and structured manner with a disciplined work ethic
- Customer-facing with the ability to communicate with all project stakeholders
- Attention to detail during throughout the life cycle of the project from design, build, acceptance testing, installation, and As-Built documentation
- Strong electronic bench engineering skills underpinned with experience/qualification
- Full clean driving license
- Ability to pass enhanced security checks such as DBS or higher
- Ideally you will possess 4 years or more experience in an Engineering role or equivalent
- Excellent computer skills including Outlook, Excel and Word
- Be a process-driven person able to offer improvement when required
- Excellent organisational skills including the ability to prioritise tasks to increase productivity
- The ability to work as part of a wider organisational team
- Educated to degree level or equivalent, relevant experience.
**You must have the ability to perform hands on work such as programming of handsets, working on IP based platforms**
