Job Title: PNC/CNC Operator/Setter

Pay: £12.50 to £14.00 depending on experience

Hours: 39.5 per week

6.30 – 16.45 Mon & Tues     inclusive with ½ hour lunch (not paid)

6.30 – 17.00 Wed & Thurs   inclusive with ½ hour lunch (not paid)

Area: Birmingham 

Job Description

The right person will be experienced in setting and operation of a range of machinery and will need to be a team player with a ‘can-do’ and keen to learn attitude.

Essential skills.

* PNC/CNC machine setting and operation. Programming knowledge: not essential but would be beneficial. Within this role there is possibility of further progression to machine programming once probationary period completed.          (In-house training programme.)

* Able to carry out basic measurement checks and basic understand of drawing dimensions and tolerances.

* Strong communication skills.

* Maintenance of quality standards.
