Job Description

Job Title: Part Time Finance Administrator

Location  Redditch

Salary:   £Neg dependant on experience

Hours:    Part time 3 days per week – 18 hours – 9.30am-2.30pm

Our client is a logistics service provider with over 20 years’ experience in their field and is looking for a part time finance administrator to support the finance function of the business. You will be working to reduce any age debt, proactively manage the main ledger together with dealing with any queries, there is also some general office admin required. 

Day to Day duties will include the following:

  • Daily allocation of values payments accurately & efficiently.
  • Liaise with clients to collect late payments and resolve any debt issue.
  • Reconciling customer statements.
  • Taking incoming calls to resolve daily queries and internal issues.
  • General finance admin duties, sending copy invoices etc.
  • You will be responsible for – payments/ statements/ reconciliations/ queries.
  • Build a rapport with co-workers and customers
  • Distribution of customer statements
  • Ensuring timely payment are made
  • Ordering stationery
  • Printing induction packs for new starters
  • Creating personnel files for new starters
  • Post
  • General office duties.

Experience & Skills required:

  • Advanced Excel user
  • V-Lookups
  • Previous experience in credit control
  • A strong telephone manner
