Financial Accountant

Job Title:        Financial Accountant  

Location:        Redditch

Hours:            8.30 to 17.00pm

 Salary            £30,000 to £35,000

Permanent Position  

 We are excited to be working in partnership with a specialised manufacturer located in Redditch due to organic growth we are searching for a Financial Accountant who is looking to support a motivated finance team. This role is a pivotal role to the business in all aspects you will be involved in liaising with suppliers, customers and members to help support and implement new ideas.

Key Responsibilities

• Preparation of VAT returns
• Preparation of management figures
• Create bacs payments and supplier payments runs
• General bookkeeping to trial balance stage
• Liaising with clients to gather information to process bookkeeping
• Complete and filing of VAT returns
• Preparation of Payroll reporting 
• Assisting other team members when necessary
• Working to strict deadlines and prioritising work appropriately
• Looking after a range of clients and processing monthly and weekly client payroll
• Inputting, calculation and recording of SSP and SMP
• Processing of HMRC submissions including P45, P60’s and P11D’s.
• Keeping up to date with legislation
• Assisting with Forecasting

You will need to be

• A self-starter
• Focused, having a proactive approach
• Be able to be positive and flexible to an ever-changing environment
• Excellent at building relationships
• Preference AAT/ACCA/CIMA or ACA
• Must be able to demonstrate knowledge of month end process
• To hold Excellent awareness of technology
• Proficient with Excel
