Job Title: EDM Machinist / Fitter
Location: Tyseley
Hours: 7am – 4pm Monday to Thursday. 7am – 12pm Friday
Pay Rate: £30000 – £36000
OTE £39000 with overtime

An innovative organisation in a specialist defence related industry is looking for a Setter, Operator to join their team. The candidate must be a UK national and will need to pass security vetting upon employment.

The Person
The successful candidate will be a highly skilled professional, preferably time-served and experienced in EDM Machines, with Mechanical Fitting capabilities.

Role Duties
⦁ EDM Machines – Agie /Charmille 1000 and 2000 series.
⦁ Robots that that work from roughing out machines to finishing mc. Cut 300m/s
⦁ Typical project example – bespoke gauge tooling. 
⦁ Very tight tolerances.  Low batch work.  Working on automotive, F1, Aerospace projects
⦁ Mechanical aptitude and good math skills, with a keen eye for detail and results-driven approach
⦁ Good communication abilities
⦁ Ability to work as part of a small team
