Door Installation Engineer

An internationally known manufacturer of security aids are actively looking a Installation/Service Engineers to join their ranks. You will be based out of their HQ in Redditch, reacting to planned maintenance, installations and emergency breakdowns all throughout the UK either on your own or alongside other Engineers.

You will start your shift from the Redditch site and from there visit customer sites on a planned and reactive schedule.

The job;

– Roller shutter installation and maintenance 

– Sliding security grille installation and maintenance 

– Fault finding, diagnostic and repairs

– Damage surveying

About you;

– Ability to work unsupervised

– Previous experience fitting doors, shutters, windows preferred 

– Ability to work to time constraints

– Great eye for detail

– Willing to work overtime when required 

– Willing to work out of town when required

– Great all round engineering skills

– Ability to read Engineering drawings 

– Full clean UK Driving License

Working hours – 20:00-04:00 Monday to Thursday (50-75% of the time)

Permanent employment – Monthly pay

Salary – Up to £38k Per Annum 

£50 unsociable hours paid per shift when working 4 hours between 22:00-02:00

Overtime paid at 1.5x hourly rate
