Job Description
Job Title: Deburrer
Aldershot
Hours: Mon – Thurs 7:00am-3:45pm / Fri 6am-1pm
Salary: £30,000 – £33,000
Main Purpose of Job:
You will be responsible for performing deburring processes including setting up and operating machinery that grinds, smooths and buffs mass-produced parts, ensuring they are presentable to be packed and sent to the customer.
Key Responsibilities:
⦁ Deburr and hand finish parts as required by using established procedures, machines and tooling.
⦁ Visual inspection of parts to ensure each meets the requirements of the order.
⦁ To communicate any issues relating to production, informing of parts not being to tolerance.
⦁ Final inspections, working to a high level of quality control to avoid customer dissatisfaction and potential returns.
⦁ Assisting with the packing and despatch of customer orders, carefully following paperwork to avoid potential discrepancies.
⦁ Support colleagues by assisting with other duties when required, to aid the smooth running of the Company.
⦁ Work in accordance with the quality system and processes of the company.
⦁ Maintain a clean and safe work area.
⦁ Be always punctual.
⦁ Adhere to the company’s health and safety requirements and complete training as required.
Skills and Qualifications/experience:
⦁ Relevant experience gained in a similar industry
⦁ Experience of working in a fast-paced environment (ideally production-based) that can be noisy
⦁ A desire to learn a new skill and develop within a successful company
⦁ Strong verbal and written communication
⦁ Experience of working within a small team
