Credit Controller

Job Title: Credit Controller
Location: Kidderminster 
Salary: £28,000 to £30,00 DOE dependent on experience
Hours: 37.5 per week

Supporting a leading service provider in their field who is looking for a Credit Controller to join their team.  You will be required to build and maintain strong relationships with both internal and external customers to ensure the smooth running of customer accounts. The successful candidate can expect a robust onboarding/induction schedule as well as continuous on the job training. 

Day to Day duties to include:

• Contacting credit customers and finance companies to ensure prompt receipt of monies due
• Daily maintenance of the receipt forecast file, updating for new invoices raised and receipts banked
• Preparation and assessment of customer credit applications
• Maintenance of the daily banking record of payments
• Pursuing payment of non-standard invoices
• Allocation of cheques or cash to the sales ledger

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• Excellent IT skills – Microsoft Word & Excel
• Understanding of an ERP system desirable
• Strong communication skills
• Process driven
• Ability to work under pressure
• Team player
• Flexible with working hours when required during month end
