Job Type: Permanent
Salary: £17Ph – £21ph DOE
Schedule: Nights
Based in Chesterfield, Our client are a precision engineering specialist supplying precision machined products into the Oil & Gas, Nuclear, Defence, Hydraulic, Off Highway and Aerospace industries.

Job description
The role of CNC Tuner Programmer will include the following duties:
⦁ Programming, Setting & Operating Flat Bed Lathes
⦁ Be able to use basic inspection equipment.
⦁ Work to tight tolerances – oneOFF – small batch
The ideal candidate will:
⦁ Have proven experience of programming, setting and operating Turning machines using Fanuc controls.
⦁ Be able to demonstrate the ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
⦁ Ideally have an engineering apprenticeship however experience is the overriding factor.
⦁ Overtime/additional hours may be required, depending on the work load of the business.
⦁ Be able to work well on their own as well as part of a team.
⦁ Producing high-quality work to fine tolerances.
⦁ Professional and self-motivated attitude.
⦁ Good organisational & time management skills.
Benefits:
⦁ Monthly bonus scheme, over the past 3 months this has been approx. £50-£100 per month
⦁ Pension Scheme – 3% company 5% employee
⦁ Death in service cover whilst you are in full time employment.
⦁ Starting holidays will be 21 plus 8 statuary days rising to 27 days, 1 per year worked over 5 years.
