CLASS 1 DRIVER

A busy haulage, storage and distribution centre in Shepton Mallet are looking for Class 1 tramper drivers. A large haulier with an excellent fleet of well-maintained vehicles. Experience is preferred but not essential, 4 nights out a week required working Monday to Friday.

This is an excellent opportunity to work with a large company that prides itself with their relationship with its drivers.  

Pay rates and shifts:

• £15.50 – £17.00 per hour
•  Start times 0600 – 0700
• £25 per night out

Day to day duties will include the following:

• General Haulage
• 4 nights staying in your vehicle per week
• Completion of paperwork
• Liaising with depot managers and traffic office
• Delivering and collecting goods to and from all over the country

As a person you will need the following qualities and experience:

• Excellent Communication skills
• UK Driving Licence with a Cat C+E entitlement
• Digi & CPC Card
• No more than 6 points for minor offences
