Business Development Manager

Job Title:  Business Development Manager

Location:   Coventry – Hybrid

Salary:     £40,000 to £45,000 per annum + OTE – Achievable OTE £75,000 to £90,000

Hours:      Monday to Friday – 37.5 hours

Our client is a leading solutions provider and due to an exciting period of growth is looking to recruit a results driven Business Development Manager to join their team to expand their existing business but also generate new business.

Our client has a unique solution for Government, Corporates, Local Authorities, Housing Associations to name a few.  Due to their unique offering, they have doubled their staff headcount over the last 12 months with plans to continue to increase due to their continued success.

Day to day duties will include the following:

• You will be responsible for generating new business sales
• Sourcing/leading development of tender opportunities
• Generating sales from existing clients accounts
• Building rapport with existing customers developing and nurturing lasting relationships
• Working towards sales targets
• Develop sales strategies

As an individual you will need the following:

• Proven sales track record
• Previous experience dealing with high value contracts
• Fully understands the sales cycle
• Ability to build a strategic partnership
• Previous experience selling within Government, local authorities, housing associations, facilities management
• Target driven individual
• CRM systems to include Salesforce
