Workforce is delighted to welcome Marta Ossowska to Driving Workforce in Rugby. Marta is a hugely experienced recruitment consultant, having worked exclusively in the driving and logistics sector for some of the region’s largest blue-chip distribution companies over the last three years. Marta has regularly worked on accounts placing 200+ drivers every week.

Paul Alekna, chief executive of Workforce Staffing said: “Marta will be a huge asset to Workforce. We have noticed that an increasing number of our clients needed good quality, experienced drivers and they were struggling to find people for these roles.  Not only does Marta bring a wealth of contacts and some great relationships, she also has a specialist knowledge of the specific requirements related to driving, such as the various licenses that are needed and how to manage the drivers’ rest-days so that they are safe to drive.”

Marta said: “I am so pleased to join Workforce so that I can grow the Driving division in the local area.  I love working with drivers and helping them to find great roles.  You can connect with me on Linked IN – I have found this to be a great way to communicate with drivers and has helped me to build up my connections.”

“Workforce has a number of other branches which will help me to make new connections and to grow and expand my experience across the West Midlands. I’ve been very impressed with the systems that they have in place which will make me more effective in my role, plus the importance they place on compliance as this will protect the safety of the drivers.  I’m looking forward to progressing my career with Workforce.”

Paul Alekna added: “Driving and logistics are a huge area of opportunity for Workforce. In a recent report by the Freight Transport Association (FTA), it was reported that the transport sector is facing a higher than average skills shortage and that demand is higher for logistics vocations compared to other professions. Workforce wants to do all that we can to promote this as an excellent career choice as there is a distinct lack of younger people coming through in to key logistics roles.”
