Workforce has invited local companies to help raise £3,000 for a local hospice through its annual golf event.

Workforce hosted its golf event at Blackwell Golf Club on Friday 6 July where golfers raised funds for Primrose Hospice – a charity which needs almost £2m each year to continue to operate its care services.

Workforce Staffing’s chief executive, Paul Alekna said: “We’d like to thank everyone who took part in our golf day. We get great support from kind-hearted individuals and local businesses who want to help us raise funds for a wonderful cause.”

Primrose Hospice relies heavily on voluntary donations. It offers support to patients who have been diagnosed with a life limited illness and their family, including children through their Day Hospice and Family Support services.

Kate Kelly, Corporate Fundraising Manager from Primrose Hospice said ‘Workforce Staffing have shown tremendous support to Primrose through their Charity of Year Partnership raising in excess of £11,000 in support of Primrose to date. We are so very grateful for their continued support’.
