Last week, Workforce had our half yearly review and we got together at our Birmingham office to talk about recent performance, some new and exciting services that we’re bringing to market, the latest from Jeff Brooks and the legendary Workforce Awards.
Our team do a fantastic job of supporting our clients and candidates – they work tirelessly to get the right people in to the right roles for our candidates. They may make it look easy – but believe me, it isn’t. These are the guys from the team who stood out in the first half of this year:
Best Growth Account
Lina Nareikiene grew one of our clients accounts by over 80% in six months – this particular client has very strict compliance regulations and, by building up a relationship of trust over time, Lina’s work secured Workforce as the exclusive provider of temporary workers.
Alliona Andrejeva and Roza Bunn look after Managed Services in Worcester and have seen great results in the last half year. This award was also shared by Alex Detheridge and Ionella Anghel from Coventry who look after our driving division.
We’ve welcomed 8 new members of staff in the last six months, but Tracey Makin has really stood out. Tracey worked for one of our clients and when she was made redundant, was approached by Gary Grundy who suggested she applied as she’d be great in recruitment. In her previous career as production manager Tracey had the transferable skills that we really love at Workforce – she’d done the role that she’s now recruiting for. Tracey now looks after Manufacturing roles in Redditch and has really taken to her new career in recruitment.
There’s loads of great team members at Workforce, but I’d like to thank Magdalena Bardzinska for being a fantastic office manager in our Coventry branch (there’s always tea on offer when we arrive), plus Holly Diggens in Rugby and Hannah James in Coventry, both of who have bright futures in this business and in recruitment.
Wooden Spoon Award – Best First Impression
This is a new category and we’ve awarded it to Dave Arrowsmith of the Dudley branch. Dave joined us in November and had a terrible Sat Nav malfunction on his first day. Instead of turning up (on time) to his new office in Redditch, he ended up 20 miles away in Kidderminster. However, when he did arrive (at 11.15) he did a great job and we’re really pleased to welcome Dave to the team!
If you’re looking for a career in recruitment, then we’d love to hear from you! We like proactive, passionate people who use initiative to drive their accounts.
Please if you’d like to find out more about working for us.
